this is a great page. I really like that you scanned in what it said on the back of the photo and included it on the layout. wonderful treasure to have.
I LOVE heritage photos and you have done a terrific job of showcasing this one with your layout! Great idea to scan and add the notations, etc. on the back.
How wonderful.....first to have the photo, and then to have it to put into your brothers book....he is going to be so thrilled with this wonderful book you are making for him. J also love the stack of books.....and the journaling is perfect!
Wow Tish you are so lucky to have this photo and information about your great grandfather. I love the colors and the pile ot tattered books. Quite lovely.
This is a page for a book I have been working on per my brother, Ralph's request! Journaling says: This handsome gentleman is our great grandfather Mosher. Sadly he died before we were born. On the back of this picture is says, James Mosher, husband of Juliette Shibles and father of Ralph Henry Mosher. (our paternal great grandparents). There is also a stamp on the back which I have scalled. The back of the photo also says Civil War. He was bron December 21, 1843 and died Nov. 2, 1929. He is buried in Weeks Mills, Maine at the Baptist Church Cemetery. His wife died at the age of 29 in 1869.
