This beautiful fall Los Angeles day, we’re hanging out at the city park near our home. We’re in the backseat (or is it the trunk?) of the family’s funky blue Volkswagen Rabbit, hatchback up to bring in the warmth of the day. Look at the way you’re dressed- the bright patterned scarf holding your hair back and bell bottom jeans. You’re so stylish and hip, independent and strong-willed, fun and easygoing.
Me? Well, I’m not quite there yet… I’m just contentedly drinking my bottle in my diaper and onesie, probably unaware of where we are or what we’re doing. Unaware that I’ve got a cool mom, an awesome dad, and that we live in the best place I could ever ask for- California. And what’s not to love? It’s a place with sunny weather almost all year round, a laid-back attitude, plenty of diversity and individuality. A place where we can be whoever we want to be. A place to call home for life.
