Just a placeholder for journaling and memorabilia from a trip to Rome. Journaling:
We took a few trips with Chuck and Rosie while they were in Europe. Daddy took them to western Germany; we went to Weimar, Eisenach, and central Germany; and we flew to Rome for a wonderful trip!
Mommy had visited Rome when she was in college; Daddy had never been before. We stayed in a bed-and-breakfast right outside the Vatican walls. The highlight of the visit was the tour Daddy arranged for us to the excavations underneath St. Peter's Basilica. That was so neat! We all also enjoyed the food! Pasta, gelato, pizza... good Italian food is such a treat (and so easy on a pregnant tummy.) We can't wait to take you there some day when you're old enough to see it for yourself!
The first Kick: By the time we went to Rome, you were moving around much more - or at least, I could feel you moving more. You definitely noticed the change in air pressure on the flights!
