This is a page I did for the Challenge "On this day in History" and the ribbon challenge.
Journaling along the stem reads
My Mother became a mother, My father became a father, and our family tree's branches grew a little further.
I tried to use Heidi Swapp's ghost butterflies over stickles, and I'm not really thrilled with the results. I'm going to keep experimenting, though not on this page. The clock in the upper left is set to 10:19, which is my birth date.
I'm not thrilled with this LO, as it seems very messy to me, I'm going to try to flatten it a bit. I think if the ghost butterflies turned out like i pictured, I'd be happier!
