I wanted to try a folding technique that Anna Griffin did on DIY scrapbooking. The photo is on top of the journal card.

The Journaling: Miracles
This is my Mom ‘Dolores’ and her Primary Care Doctor – Dr. Herbert Dreyer. This photo was taken at her follow up visit in March of 2002, while she was recovering from a brain aneurysm.
Right after her surgery she had complications and wound up staying in the Neuro - Intensive Care Unit for 45 days. Each day all we could do was pray, but we never lost faith. When she was finally well enough to go to rehab she was unable to walk and had lost much of her short term memory. In rehab she had to overcome many obstacles, and she did. She was able to come home after four weeks in rehab, but still needed the assistance of a physical therapist, home health aids, and visiting nurses.
I say this is a miracle because today she is fully functional, and I know it was God who made it all possible. He watched over her and our family as we struggled through this almost unbearable ordeal, and he brought us through. I say this is a miracle because I am so blessed to be able to look into my Mother’s eyes, and feel the tenderness of her kiss. I have witnessed a MIRACLE.
