Aw!! You poor thing! That would be so hard to go through, but you both made it and you probably learned a lot about yourself in the process! WAY TO GO, MOM!
What a scare, I had a scare similar to that. My son ate some medicated ointment thinking it was toothpaste. I freeked out for a few minutes and then I saw my poison control label on the frige door and called them.
Cute page.

OMG Jill what an ordeal to go through with your baby. I am sure this took alot to scrap this page but it is beautiful and I am sure she will love it as she gets older just knowing how much you loved her
OH my goodness how scary! We had a similar situation happen here. My daughter was a preemie with reflux and she'd spit up so much that it would come out of her mouth and nose and choke her. One time it was so bad that she went blue and limp like your daughter did. I ended up being able to suction her out but it was SO scary. I'm glad your daughter is OK!
I've been wanting to scrap this for awhile. This happened two years ago, almost to the day but it still feels like yesterday.
Journaling reads: It was just another regular day in January for the two of us. We were having some baby and Mommy time together and then I decided that I wanted to go in the back part of the basement to organize some stuff. I went over and you whined and cried so I decided to bring you back with me, even though it wasn’t all that safe. You pulled yourself up to a stand on the ottoman and grabbed a screwdriver that daddy had left out. I didn’t really think much of it. There were some other containers with some little pieces in it but again, didn’t really pay that much attention to it. You then started coughing and sputtering so I calmly walked over to you to get whatever it was that was in your mouth out. I opened your mouth and caught a glimpse of something but then it disappeared. Then you started to choke and choke severely. I contemplated running to the neighbours but then saw that you were turning blue - there was no time. I had to call 911. I called and said “I need an ambulance. My baby is choking and she can’t breathe. 44 Inverary. Hurry”. The operator told me to calm down but I think I was actually pretty calm. The dispatcher got the ambulance on the phone and said they were on their way. You were making some noise and the dispatcher said that was good news, however if she could have seen you, I am not so sure she would have thought so. Your little body was so limp and your face was so blue. You were trying so hard to breathe and you had this terrified look on your face. At one point, your eyes rolled back into your head and you made an awful noise and you went completely backwards in my arms, going totally limp. Your mouth gaped open so I looked in and saw this tiny little piece of yellow. I reached it and dug it out and you started breathing. The ambulance still came and they ran some tests, there was blood on your shirt but you made it! When I was on the phone with 911, all that was going through my head was “My baby is only 8 months old, she won’t even make it to one year old” and “My baby is going to die”. I am so proud of you for being so strong
