The textured paper is so cool! Great title work. Hole-punched circles with the blue and the sepia tones...such a lovely look. You put so much heart into this....a lovely keepsake in honor of Frisco. Love it.
Wonderful tribute page. I think the sepia was a brilliant idea for the picture. It does add that little extra to the wonderful picture of Frisco. This is really a work of art. I can see all the love and dedication you have put into this, you friend is lucky to have you do this for her. This is beautiful.

This is my friend, Judy's, beloved dog, Frisco. The dog has passed but the loving memory lingers. I haven't felt like painting pet portraits in a long while so I made this for her instead......its the least I could do for hanging on to her fave photo for so long. P.S. This is a blown up copy of the original altered in the sepia tone. I was feeling a more earthy, nostalgic LO for this pic.
I used scraps for the horizonal border, I used puff paint for the pearl "beads", I doodled the dark brown paper w/ a white pen, did a cut out of some creamy, glistening, highly textured paper, added some buttons for a nostalgic flair. I took various sizes of hole punches to the photo to detract from the floor and shelving in the pic. I used border punches from Friskars. There is some tinting and distressing.
