Journaling: "2010 Hurricane Season. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best".
Around the left and bottom margins is a list of items that come in handy when preparing for a hurricane. Written there is everything from a tank full of gas to medicines, plywood to tarps etc...
My scanner copies on the blue side....IRL the bg paper is a deep, rich grey. I wanted to do an astere LO as not to detract from the pics. I was going for a wind and rain effect. I used plastic clear dots and made my own lawn chair. I put everything on an angle as to appear the wind is coming in from the left of the LO. TFL!!
Top pic: Key Largo with a storm brewing over the Gulf of Mexico. Bottom Pic: Waves produced by Hurricane Bill centered 500 miles from our shores in Florida.
