On Tuesday July 7, I got to meet Canadian racecar champion Paul Tracy at Yonge & Dundas Square. I got my picture taken with him and his autograph. He is from my city, Scarborough. His nickname is "The Thrill from West Hill". West Hill is one of the smaller communities in Scarborough. (Note: Scarborough is part of Toronto.) On Thursday July 9, I went to The Bay store in downtown Toronto to meet him in person a second time. He remembered me and liked my scrapbook page. I got him to sign another copy of the photo of him and I. Paul Tracy has a star on the Canada's Walk of Fame, but I'm waiting for him to get a star on the Scarborough Walk of Fame. He, Mike Myers, and Jim Carrey need to get there stars.
I covered up the chipboard letters with red paper, but afterwards I didn't like the shade of red. So I got out my black ink stamp pad and makeup removal sponge and brushed on some black ink. I used gold brads to help anchor the letters.
