Thank you all for the comments, actually it is really easy to do.
First, purchase the paper that has the blocks pre-drawn on it. I purchased mine from a local scrapbook store. It is called "Mosaic Moments" by Wish in the Wind. This paper only has two lines per mosaic block. It works as a cheat cheet. Just make sure that your blocks are big enough to cover up the lines so that they don't show through. Then you place your photos around the page where you want them to be to get a general idea of how your layout is going to be. Be sure to save a few photos that you will not cut up to make a focal point and to add some contrast.
Next, roll HermaFix glue on the back of the pictures that you will be cutting up and position the photos on a Coluzzle back piece (the white foamy mat). Coluzzle makes a template that has a series of parallel vertical lines--this is a must. It will save you hours if you use this template! You cut the pictures using the template horizontally first, then flip the Coluzzle 90ยบ to cut the pictures vertically. Now that your pieces are cut and already pre-glued on the back, you are ready to pick up the pieces and place them on your pre-lined paper. It's that easy! And Fun!
Thanks for the encouragement,
Mindy
