My poor niece...of the 8 grandchildren she the only girl. Hidden Journaling: Helena Grace...you handle being the only girl among the Watson grandchildren with poise and grace. Eight has always been a magic number to me. You are just beyond the little kid stuff and on the thresholdof the teen years. Eight is the start of a wonderful journey. I hope you continue to give all these boys a run for their money. I hope you embrace the young woman inside of you. I hope you never completely let go of the little girl. Grandpa wrote this poem to you for me, because on your eighth birthday I was at a loss for words. Today, four yers later, over the lump in my throat, I can say you are precious. I feel blessed to have you for my niece. And I hope you are blessed with a daughter with whom you can share your beautiful spirit. I hope you are able to pass this "China Doll" on to the next generation. Mostly, I hope you continue being just who you are. TFL
