I love the smell of alyssum too. Maybe it is the picture, but I don't think it looks so bad. (but what would I know, it looks better than anything I can grow)

Well with this planter i kinda blew it this year..The combo of the plants and plant colors are not working for me..This is the planter that sits at the bottom of the landing(where the bear was) so i will see it a few times a day, the only part i love is the sweet alyssum skirt that has grown around the base, it has the nicest scent everytime i step out the door
