Every <3 Beats True

Journaling: Our first 4th together, we drove to Myrtle Beach. My Aunt Lisa and Cousin Lori had a cookout. It was one of the best days. It will definitely go down in the books as being one of my favorite memories. The entire day was filled with family, fun and laughter. My mom's side hasn't gotten together like that in years. Although we were missing some primary players, we still had a grand ole time! It is so hard to determine what the best part of the day was: the endless food and watermelon, horseshoes and bean bag toss, bad mitten and horseback riding, watching the kids play in the pool and fly their kites, or just lounging around barefoot...chatting it up. It was my first horseback riding experience. I was extremely nervous but I knew you wouldn't let anything happen to me. Above anything else, You were my favorite part of the day... even when you hit me in the forehead with your bad mitten racket.
