Really nice =) Love the small pic of the dress on the left, it makes the idea understandable and somewhat funny =) It's really cute =) Love the papers and embellies!
What a great story to scrap! Love the feel of the lo too. I didn't know that about the dresses back then but it makes a lot of sense. I learned something new today - thanks!
The story behind the dress is wonderful. Your pages are always true treasures. Not just for the designs (which are always beautiful!) but for the way you tell the important stories of your life. Awesome Marlene!
Very beautiful! The papers are perfect, and the story is heart touching. The butterflies add the perfect touch to it all! And, it amazed me I knew the name of the doll in the picture before I read the story! I havent seen or read those books in ages!!
Journaling: Grandma Patsy made this dress using an American Doll pattern for Kirsten. IN 1824 girls' dresses were made with pleats that could be removed to lengthen the bodice, sleeves and hem. When everything was handmade it had to last. This has been Patsy's last real project and it is beautiful.
