Using my April Scraptastic Kit which is a wonderful collection of up to the minute supplies. Also used a sketch from the May Scrapbooks, Etc. (Tween). Journaling: When I was in my twenties I never thought I wanted to have children. I guess the ticking of my bio clock made me think it through. At first, I thought one child would be fulfillment enough, but Ken pointed out how nice it is to have siblings and he wanted our son to have one. I loved Kyle so much that I could not believe that I had enough in my heart to share with another person. Once I saw Matty, I realized the beauty is that you don’t have to divide your love, your heart expands to accommodate it.

Being a mother is the one thing in my life that I have embraced wholeheartedly, without reservation and the reward is beyond description. Looking back I am glad that I waited until I was older to become a mother, I was fully ready. I knew that you can’t give too many hugs, be too silly, housework will wait, the most mundane things can be interesting and you cannot love too much. Most women will say that the happiest time of their life was when their children were small. I am glad I had the good sense and fortune to enjoy it because it passed in a heartbeat.

These pictures were taken on the Little Beaver Creek Bridge during one of our best camping vacations.
