The picture is of my DD after her new haircut. She lost her mind on Thursday and cut her own hair. Ever since I cut my hair short, she's been begging to cut her hair. I've resisted since she's in dance class and her hair needs to be pulled back, but after the cut she gave herself I really had no other choice. I think she looks so cute, eventhough the curls are gone...

Background paper is Worldwin/ColorMates - Dark Glorious Green. The large flowers on both sides were hand cut. The dotted paper is Nana's Kids. The floral paper is Colors by Design (no name given, but the no. is SQ108). The yellow cardstock on the flower is Bazzill - Mexican Poppy. The paper behind the photo is Basic Grey - Oh Baby/Orange. I inked the Basic Grey paper with Color Box - Amber Clay. The dotted paper and floral paper are inked with blue. The felt and crochet flowers are Offray Stylish Accents. The ribbon across the top of the photo is hand stitched on and was obtained through the All Tied Up Ribbon Sway (thanks for hosting, Amy!). The flourishes are hand drawn and stitched. I outlined the photo with stitching and there are also flower shaped hand stitching. I used yellow/dark green and cobolt blue embroidery floss. The journaling paper is inked with blue and I also added gold/yellow acrylic paint and distress ink.

Enjoy and thanks for taking a look! I love the way this layout turned out!

Journaling: Well you said you wanted short hair, but I never dreamed you'd take matters into your own hands. You got your wish today and now have a new short do! Not that were any other options left after your self haircut! I have to admit, you look even more adorable! Is that possible?
