a rescue kitten my son found the other day
after the flood we had, and it's a few weeks old maybe...
& guess what we named it? You'll never guess!
....."OPOSSUM".... LOL...
no lie!
It looked just like a baby opossum
when we found her!
she was caught in a storm drainage &
caked with mud something horrible, her eyes were glued shut poor thing.
My eldest son heard her crying one morning
while waiting for the school bus & when he returned from school that day from off
the bus he had still heard her crying and looked for her and found her in the drainage pipe.
When he came in the house,
I thought he had broken his arm because he was hollering,
"Mama!....Mama!" and holding his arm up against his chest really tight with the kitten
cradled in his one arm just like a baby.
Well, after a good bath and warm milk,
she's doing a lot better now and already spoiled rotten!
