This is Gorgeous! I love the tearing, folding, the postcard showing through, great look to go with the obviously "aged" look. It makes you wonder if the pictures are also of children who are grown now. The angle for their picture is really cool. Of course I also love the buttons and lace and you put the buttons in a great place. Definitely going into my favorites! Your kids are so cute! Love his eyes looking up at you like that!

this layout is so inspiring to me. you are definitely an awesome distresser/tearer..and the great thing about this layout is..that the picture is so beautiful itself..but all the detailed work you put into the LO just adds to the pictures beauty..it enhances it. makes it stand out so lovely. i really like the shades of blue you used...you really are soooo very talented..i distress and tear..but sometimes get a little apprehensive about how much i should actually do..this is just amazing. a whole new level..and definitely a LO i MUST try technique wise..i hope you dont mind..but this LO is too beautiful and really opened my eyes to some new tricks i can do...you really inspired me...:o)~ once again...amazing work
I couldn't wait to get stuck into these Blue Awning papers by K&Co after seeing so many gorgeous examples in last months challenge. This is my entry also for ripped, torn and folded!! In case you haven't noticed I did quite alot of that!!
Georgia and Ben looking sweet together..the title is papermania chipboard which I painted with cream acrylic and stamped the brown flowers onto. I also altered the chipboard paisley too. The Antique lace came from my Grandmothers house and is so fragile it must be around1890's, and yes I did cut it up!! I just had to, besides there are edges and all sorts on the collar insert that can and will be used on my next layouts. I think my Grannie would approve becuase I come from a long line of textile hoarders who can't help themselves when it comes to collecting so at least this piece is actually seeing the light of day!!
