First of all, how amazing are children that they're able to just accept things like that. This was beautifully written and documented for your son. These are hard pages to do, and I'm so sorry for your loss. We just lost my MIL in November to cancer so I'm feeling for you. ((hugs))
This is a lo of my dad and son back in 2001. My dad lost the fight with cancer. I had to create this page to let my Son know how special he was to his Grandpa. I hope that this lo's will bring peace to his little heart if not now, then in the future. Jounaling: Trenton, I am so pound of you for being strong in one of the difficult times in your life. You and your Grandpa Stan were so inseparable, that you always had to be by his side. I know that you don't remember everything about that dreadful day when he passed away. I was so afraid that you would be so lost without him that I worried night and day about you. Even though you were four years old when Grandpa passed away, you somehow knew that everything was going to be ok. The reason that I know this is because, at the awake you were crying so hard with sadness. When we all went to sit down, you walked up to Grandpa Stan and reached in his casket and touched him and started shaking your head like you were knobbing yes, or no. We all watched in disbelief, you walked back and sat down on my lap and told all of us, quote, "Pa Pa Stan is ok, don't worry he is going to be just fine." You never cried a tear after that.
