For this LO I used blue bazzill cardstock as the base. I used the tickets at the top of the LO to be part of the sky and the clouds that I cut with my cricut and chalked on the edges with blue chalk. I used one button at the top corner as the sun and colored it with a marker to make it look more orangy-yellow. The Title Green Acres was cut using the cricut and outlined with black ink. I put one of the beads next to the red barn to be used to represent a barrel. The brown felt was used to make the foreground of the earth. The female paper doll, cut with the cricut is wearing a necklace made of the string (which I inked silver to make it look like a real necklace) and 2 small beads and one large bead which I colored with inks. The other buttons were used on the woman's hat and the man's belt. The paper bag was used to make the road from the barn to the field where I used the green ribbon for the corn in the field of burlap. The corn is from pictures I took in China of corn hanging from a hutong with snow on them.
The road reads...This corn was grown in China. I saw it hanging in a hutong covered partly with snow in Beijing. The man is holding a pitch fork I made from papers. The woman's hair is made from the burlap.
I painted the woman's fingernail's pink and the man and the woman both have matching wedding bands on their fingers.
