My little Kai man playing at the park this summer. He is such a goofball. He always makes this cheesy smile when I tell him I'm about to take a photo, lol. I did this for the 12 sketches of Christmas challenge. Let me tell you, it was a challenge! I almost NEVER hand journal on any of my lo's. So this was a big step for me. I tweaked the lo a bit, as I did not like the circle title, and I did not care for all the negative space at the bottom. So I made the title big and stuck it on the bottom left instead. I still used 3 photos, as well as the background on top, and the flourises. I even kept the journaling at the bottom right and even attacked a flower! For the twist I added the little blue owl above the journaling. At the top left I stamped using bubble wrap painted blue, and again used the same color for my title. I made the "at the" part of the title by laying down letters onto white paper and creating a border with the blue paint, then cut the letters out. I distressed a little by teating the paper at the top and inking. Not sure if it goes well with the whole lo...I could go without the flower lol. However, I was trying to stay as close to the sketch as possible. This was fun to do!
