During world war 2 my dad had to work in Germany. He managed to escape and could hide himself with a family on a farm in Holland. These people were just fantastic! They took care at him and treated him like their own son. My dad had always the best stories about this time and untill now we still keep in touch with this family. We have spend so many wonderful vacations at that farm! This pic is of one happy summer day a long time ago.In the middle my mom and dad and on the right my mother's brother and my father's sister, who were also a couple! On the left the daughter of the family, who was like another sister to my dad.

p.s. I was in the mood for a summery page, because the weather here in the Netherlands is so bad at the moment. Dark and rainy,blehh!!!!
