Brian came back after a while to say the fish were biting over at the pond. So we packed up all our stuff and headed over there. To get down to the pond we had to climb down a steep hill. It was hotter on this side with no lake breeze. But the fish were definitely biting! We were catching quite a few. Even I caught a couple. After a few hours we decided to call it a day. On the way back up the hill we ran into a small snake...I ran the rest of the way up. Don't like snakes. On the way back to the car Ethan told him mom that he liked Uncle Tim.
