I bet you won't be going to that stylist again, lol. I like her hair dark the best:) my son has auburn hair & we tried giving him blonde highlights, didn't take at all,lol
Cute LO! I don't know what that stylist was thinking, I would never promise a client sandy blonde with hair as dark as hers was. Yikes! I'm glad it all worked out ok though. :)
So cute. I've been there and understand her pain. She did look cute in red hair but I am sure she didn't feel that way. Hugs for her being patient with the stylist. Great LO and title too, great journaling as well. Thanks for sharing her story with us.
I like the end results. I love red hair. I cannot wait to dye my now very short hair red again. I didn't dye it too often when It was long because it was too much work. Now I cannot wait to call up my sis and beg her to dye it red again. Great layout. I am going to do one of these with my new hair cut, but it was not disasterous. Never try to dye dark hair blond. Your daughter looks good dark and as a red head.
Oh my gosh. This is almost too tragic. My dd (16) is ALWAYS playing with her hair (within limits of course) - I swear her head is gonna melt someday. Your dd is gorgeous btw, she looks happy in that after, whew.
Oh, poor thing ... what a horrible experience for her! But I must say, the color looks beautiful on her in that "couple of weeks after" photo! LOVE that title - it is too funny - and great job on the journaling and using the during photos!
wow, yeah, this is a memory to scrap and 20 years from now she'll be fascinated by the page, but what an upsetting time this must have been. i imagine lots of tears. such a lovely girl. good design flow.
this IS funny...poor thing!!!I LOVE that you were able to capture the worried look...thank the powers that be in the universe that the "after" pic is lovely :)The best part about this LO is that she will have this to remember in her old age and she will giggle like she did when she was this age !!!!!!this is what it is ALL ABOUT!!!!scrap-on sister-friend :D
She looks great with Red hair... and that version of it is kinda the funky look I see so much of..... Awesome photos.... you really captured the whole story !! Super Page !
OMG poor thing. she really looks pretty with red hair but I know that's not what she was going for. Someday she will look back on this lo and laugh, hopefully. Tell her that my daughters friend went in recently and walked out with blond and black and looked like a zebra... not at all what she wanted. She ended up dying her hair dark to cover it up.
Oh no! Not a hair nightmare!! Hehehe! I do like the way it turned out in the end...I don't see even the remotest resemblance to that fast food clown! Cute page!
Wow that stylist was wrong! Poor thing Im sure that was awful(you can see the horror on her face:))! She looks beautiful though! It came out nice! Great title btw and I Love the hair cut pp!
This LO is about the day my dd became a redhead...and not by choice! After assuring us she could lighten my dd's hair to a sandy blonde, a stylist went on to turn it a shocking red. We returned the next day so she could 'fix' it, but it was still red, just less neon. This happened over the weekend, so when my dd went back to school on Monday, she looked like Ronald McDonald! LOL The small top pix is the "before", the photo on the bottom is during (see the worried look on her face?) the process, the large photo is "after"...a couple weeks after...when she could smile again. TFL :-)
