A few weeks ago, my dh discovered a Mourning Dove had made a nest in our pine tree in the front yard. We enjoyed keeping an eye on 'mama', and listening to her coo to her mate. Soon, two wee heads popped over the edge of the nest...babies! I used my new Nikon and the awesome zoom lens dh gave me to take these shots. The large close-up is the babies in their nest. The other photos were taken after the fledglings left the nest (took up residence in our front planter) and I saw them stretching their wings.

I used;
Cricut to cut wreath, 'Baby', & birdhouses
MStewart punch
label maker with pink tape
Quick Quotes Abby Collection polka-dot paper
ribbon

Mourning Doves mate for life. They are smaller than pigeons, and both male & female feed the babies Crop Milk from their crops!
TFL :)
