This is so amazing...where do I start...luv the title, cool bat border, great pp & fab use of the orange bag mesh...not to mention how yummy the pumpkin bread looks!
You amaze me how you can take something that's not even a photo of a family member and turn it into something beautiful! So much going on in this layout and all of it engaging and complementing your theme. As always, an excellent job!
This looks so yummy - we have nothing like this in the UK - Halloween is pretty quiet (and frowned on by the church, so that makes it even less of a festival) but this looks like great food to celebrate with - and I love tradition! (I also love ALL your foodie los - you are a great inspiration to me!)
This is so cute! Love all of it. You make me so hungry with your food LO's. The bread sounds so yummy (LOVE pumpkin bread) and the roasted seeds. Can't wait to see the costume you made her this year.
his side looks bigger than yours...what a nice wife you are! love the pp's and all the details..fabulous page recording such nice, homely traditions!love it!
wow, I like that it ia all home made, that is so nice and such a great tradtion!! Fantastic memories for your kids, there is something so special about Home made!! Love the punchwork , are those little bats?? The wavy matting looks great too!! xx
I'm ROFLOL about the half of the bread without nuts! You crack me up girl. LOL We had a very home made Halloween here too. I didn't make the costumes, but I did cupcakes with spiders and face paint, and pumpkins. I was tired! LOL What did your DD go as this year?
Love the banner for the title and all the cute Halloween designs. I leave pecans off part of my baked goods because dd and dgd don't like pecans in their food.
haha, that is so cute! i love pumpkin bread, and the vintage feel of the layout works great with the journaling and picture and the banner is the perfect touch
This is ADORABLE, Shawn!!! Love the banner/title and your wonderful journaling. The little bat border is TO DIE FOR, and lovin' how you recycled the orange mesh....your clever girl! I just ordered the Vintage Cuts (just because I LOVE them....but have no definate plans to use them.....immediately).....Can you say "impulse buy"? LOL.....And the inking you did around the little vintage Halloween card is PERFECT!
Shawn, I want to be at YOUR house next Halloween! This page just feels like home and I loved your explanation on the bread! We have the same problem in our family too -- the nuts and the have-nuts -- we call it! Your title is so fun with the banner and the bat flying across the moon. Thanks for telling us all about the goodies you used too! I love Glossy Accents too, but it's usually something you have to see in person to appreciate. You rocked this page!
This turned out really cool. Nice job with the embellies. I wish glossy accents photographed better...I'm a huge fan and I'll bet in real life it looks so cool!
Shawn, you are just so funny! Love the awesome photos, especially the one of the 'naked' bread! That's a fabulous bat border - LOVE it all! BTW, I also made all my kids's Halloween costumes except once when Will was Freddy Kruegger. I can sew but I cannot knit! LOL!!
I have always made my dd's costumes, baked up pumpkin bread, and roasted pumpkin seeds after carving our jack-o-lanterns. We definitely have a homemade Halloween every year! As you can see from the photo, half of the pumpkin bread is naked....NO nuts! That side is for dh, who has enough nuttiness putting up with me! LOL
