LOVe the page.....the subject matter is funny (to us, anyway!!! LOL!) Also love all the layers and color and infinite detail you put into it! So well done!
LOL...wonderful, great, FANTASTIC way to document a story that you'll still be telling 20 years from now. The colors are great, the design is awesome and I love how you used some Christmas stuff to tie in with why you had done the experiment in the first place. Great job!
OMG Shawn!LOL I am soorry to laugh but this is priceless!!!! I guess that proves to me u can alway believe what you see! This is super cute though!!! and it was a great idea!! XOXO
lol lol I know you didn't find it funny at first honey and I am sure I would be the same, but what a fabulous idea for a page, a great thing for all the family to remember, I love the whole look of the lo by the way. xxx
Sorry you were hoodwinked-the internet is a great invention but some people are just meanspirited. Good for you to document this-when I was teaching I used glow in the dark paint that kids could add to ex: cat's eyes, windows of houses etc. and it really worked but that's not the same thing you were looking for. The colors here are great as well as the documentation!! Featured!! :) jen
Awwwww! I'm sorry, but good for you for taking a chance and trying something interesting! Any one of us could be fooled :) This is a great, funny, and memorable layout. What a cute little experiment card! See, something good came out of this!! :)
So cute! Love the whole thing, but don't you just hate being taken in by it! I've fallen for some too but luckily they didn't include a major effort like yours! Great idea to do a layout about it!!
LOL, love that you scrapped this(: I saw this beautiful LO on the featured page, read the story and then scrolled down to see that it was yours. I'm so sorry you put all the time and effort into the experiment just to have it not work. In the end I think it was worth it though because this is a truely fabulous page!!!
LOL...sweetie, this is fabulous! I love it all, and the story is rockin'!! Sorry it didn't work for you though but, it worked out in the end with this terrific lo!
lol oh noooo!!!! this is so funny Shawn!! I am so sorry that you went to the effort here but it was just a hoax!! lol this is fantastic!! love the story!
That would have made me mad too! To spend all the time & effort all for nothing!!! BUT....................... you did get a really cute lo out of the deal!!!
LOL!!! I did the same thing...if you want glow in the dark water...break a highlighter and mix it in the water and use a blacklight!!! It WORKS!!! Unlike the Mountain Dew!!
Cute LO! Sorry that it failed on you.I love the way you documented it. Some people will make up anything just to put a video on YouTube. I remember from chemistry that there is a household item, a chemical that will cause a glow. I also read that you can make a clay out of that glow in the dark Elmers Glue. I would imagine though that your bottle would need to be clear so that the glue can absorb the light for awhile in order to glow later.
This page makes me laugh! I made it because I was so darn mad that I had been hoodwinked! LOL I watched a YouTube video on how to make a glow in the dark solution from simple ingredients, and then bought Mtn Dew. I planned to add the glowing bottles along with the other luminarias I set out along the sidewalks in our neighborhood on Christmas Eve. I found out later the video was a hoax. To quote my teen dd, "epic FAIL!"
