Every year my children's school holds a Goods and Services Auction to help raise money for the school. I will be donating this project to the auction this year. My Dad was going to take these old storm windows and make mirrors out of them, but I asked for them instead. I did nothing to the frames themselves other then clean them up a bit & scrape away some of the old paint. My husband helped me make them into REALLY big shadow boxes, which I painted with a black acrylic paint, and then I created one picture-less "mini" layout for each pane. The person who purchases them will be able to put in their own pictures in 4x6 and wallet sizes. The windows when placed together, measure about 4ft x 2.5 ft and each layout is 9 x 11 inches.

I used several sketches from the So Sketchy! Blog for this project. Made with the April '09 kit from Sweet PEa Scraps.
