Love the cute photos and the great color scheme. I agree with Jen, bring the flowers closer to the photos. I think I might also use larger blooms because the little ones seem like they're getting a little bit lost in the expanse of paper. But I *do* like the clean approach and your use of "white" space (or in your case black space -lol!) This is a great start and I can't wait to see the finished LO.
Very cute idea and love the stair step title. Very nice and I love the clean palette. I am a page overloader (tee hee) just can't stop myself. LOL. If it was my page, I think I might mat the center photo with red then with the white. I think I would ad white photo corners under the prima flowers to accent them and because I am in a doodle craze I think I would ad some flowing doodles in white coming from the center photo to create directional flow. And if I thought it still neededsomething I would try more primas either under center photo or scattered among the doodles. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
Great suggestions from above! How about matting your pics with some red CS? I love the colour scheme and the way you jogged your title around the picture! Great job so far!
Aww those are adorable pictures!! I love the design of your page, with the title stepping down with the pictures. I agree with moving the prima flowers inward. In the corners I would insead make some "corners" with maybe a white/black/red pp, maybe striped? Or something with those colors at least. This page is great!!
I love the color scheme you have going and I am a big fan of the primas. Maybe some pp matching the colors, maybe in the diagonal you have the pictures going in would help the eye follow the picture flow. I would have never thought of moving the primas to the picture but I like the idea. I love the pictures of the kiddos, they are too cute!!
The suggestions above are great! I love those cute pics! If you're going to move the primas to the middle photo, perhaps add some white rubons or stamp at the corners (where the primas are originally). I do love the idea of just a little bit of pp. Can't wait for your final page! :)
Great start -- I love the funky placement of your title and the simple, emphatic color scheme. I think Amy's right, some pp strips or mabye something that's still black but has a lot of texture would help break up some of that "white" space.
How sweet!!! Love teh color combo and the way you did the title. I like Jen;s dea of putting the primas around the bottom left corner of the middle pic. If you did move the primas, I think some pp strips or photo corners with the red and white color combo woould look good in the cs corners (does that make any sense). I think so simple journaling (a quick statment or quote) would be nice to have to; even if it's hidden; this is already so cute; can't wait to see the final lo :)

Now how cute is this?! Absolutely adorable photos!!!!!! The black, white and red background really lets you focus on their expressions, the title following the staggered photos is really cool and unique. skydreamer, may I suggest putting those pretty prima flower corners right on the middle photo? Putting the primas in the opposite corners pulls the eye away from the photos, and I think it will strengthen the middle photo as a focal point. I agree perhaps it needs something more, but I can't offer any advice right now -- I'm afraid to mess up the lovely clean, strong design as it is. I'll think more on this tonight!
