The red tiles are made out of clay that I stamped with a rubber stamp. I embossed my rubber and MM foam stamps. I really feel like I missing something in this page - actually with both pages. I tried to use less emblishments, because I feel I use too much in most of my LOs - but now I feel like it is missing something.
The inserts read as follows:
The Great Wall is absolutely amazing and larger than I had ever imagined. Climbing the Great Wall has to be the most exhilarating thing I have ever done. I remember when I finally reached the top of one of the many towers; I was so overcome with emotion that a tear started to roll down my eye. All I kept thinking when I reached the top, was this is the land that my family came from. The land where my grandparents worked so hard so they can bring their children to the US for a better life. Visiting the Great Wall gave me a better understanding of me, my family, and my culture. It changed my life and made me realize how blessed I am to have the family that I have.
