SHCG: Deborah, Deborah, Deborah. You make me wanna go digi, babydoll. I adore this layout! The colors are absolute perfection and the picture is stunning! I'd love to have a little journaling and possibly a date added, but that is seriously the only critique that I could make. I love this!
SHCG: I love all the layers, textures and colors! I just don't get the orange ribbon that goes from top to bottom. Everything else is beautiful... nice LO!
SHCG: First off, welcome to our group! Now, the best part--your initiation! I'll try to go easy on you, your first time. Lessee... I have to admit, I'm diglexic, so I don't know how useful my critiques will be. When I first saw this page, I was very impressed with how non-digi it looks. All the pp layerings and textured flower/button embellies look so realistic. Great color pallette, and beautiful girls, too! I'm with Lisa on the writing on the pp, and with Christy on adding some journaling, like the date and occasion and their names. I'd like to see the pp at the bottom of the photo (with the writing) torn to match the tearing coming out of the same pp in the upper right. I'd also like to see more tearing of that corrugated cardboard immediately to the right of the blue flower with the white button center. It currently seems too rounded and neat there. Finally, I can see the two orange strips at the bottom of the page cut diagonally to get more of a simulated ribbon look. Great first entry to our group. Looking forward to more.
SHCG: This isnt digi is it? It looks real! Gorgeous by the way! I LOVE the colors and the whole design. If I were to change anything at all, i would just add a bit of journaling, doesnt even have to be a lot. Great job here!
SHCG: What a beautiful color scheme (and it even matches her dress). LUV all of the layers and details. I am just not sure about the "Stone Cutter...curbing and flag walks..." text. Is that somehow related to the photo? If not maybe you could replace it with text about the photo (using the same style & color).
shcg: this is just lovely! the layers work so well and the colors are great! the girls look great and like they are having a wonderful time. the lo and title help show this. i love the background and the distressed edging. fantastic use of this kit!
SHCG - Terrific LO, Deborah! Wonderful how the kit works well w/ the dresses...I love the mix of earthy tones w/ that lovely turquoise, the elements are beautiful but w/ a bit of an edge & playfulness (just right for a teen girl LO). I agree w/ Amanda, would love just a little journaling, at the very least names & date/event (even if on the back), to preserve the memory. Awesome scrapping!
