SHCG: Wow, girl! When you step out of your funk, you really step out! It looks fabulous. I love the colors that you used and the picture you included. It is great the way she is in focus and the others behind her are slightly filtered. It characterizes the intensity that she shows. Fantastic.
SHCG: I love the photo and the embellies, its a nice simple LO. I am not crazy about the folded paper. I think if the edges of the paper had been generously inked with a dark blue ink, it would add the perfect touch.
SHCG: Awesome LO Deb, I like it as is... you've done a great job. I really like the "folded" paper, swirls, and how you separated the title parts with dots. Great job! :)
SHCG: I love the folded and refolded, ink smeared look to your bg, like a note that's been passed back and forth one too many times in class. I also like how the flourishes seem to be coming out of the drum. My only suggestion is to either add a shadow or change the title font so that it's not an exact match with the journaling. Nice exit out of your self-proclaimed recent scrapfunk, Deborah.
SHCG: This is so cool, love the folded paper look of the paper. The flower and swirls are so neat, I agree with Sharon, I would move it down lower to the corner. Awesome LO :)
shcg: now i realize this is a two pager and the pics are set to compliment each other . i like the element it kind of emphaasizes the energy from the beat of the drum!
shcg: very nice page, love the distressed look to the background paper. great color choices to go with that wonderful photo. I think some more shading would be a nice addition to the swirls to create a bit more dimension, but, in all honesty, I wouldn't worry about it. this is a wonderful companion page to the other one in the set.
SHCG - This is wonderful! I like how you used negative space for maximum impact, & also like how this page is different, yet complementarily similar, to the other page. The cool colors work well w/ your pic & the folded-paper-y background is neato. While I like how the groovy flower embellie seems to spring the the drum, I could visualize playing w/ its placement, maybe moving it down so the flower is lower on the photo edge then rotating clockwise to make the swirls "frame" the pic more (just brainstorming, would have to actually see it to make sure whether or not that'd work). Terrific page, feels fresh & elegant at once. TFS!
Joournaling Reads: I love the intensity you play with when you march on the field. Since you are a Junior, you have stepped up to the plate and show kindness and respect to the Freshmen in your section. I am proud of your compassion and tenacity!!
