SHCG: Deborah, this is so cool..the trip and the layout. The colors you used here are exquisite. I love the blues and browns together. The argyle adds so much, too. I love the placement of the photos (which are supercute, by the way) and your journaling. Wait, I wanted to suggest maybe only three of the bling down on the bottom instead of it going halfway across. This layout is priceless!
SHCG: My best friend is also my scrapbook buddy and I'm realizing after seeing this LO that it is necessary for me to do a BFF LO. Thanks for the inspiration! I may have put the circle photo in the middle of the page over to the right & moved the title & journaling to the middle. Love this fun LO though! Great job.
SHCG: I left a comment but it must have got dropped when the site timed out. Basically I said...
Stars, snowflaks, circles, ovals, stripes, & diamonds is a whole lot of shapes. I would try switching the diamond pattern with something more muted like the snowflakes or a circle/dot pattern. Then I would use either stars or the ovals but not both.
SHCG: Very fun LO! I'm torn though... I love the diamonds, but they don't seem to go with the playful stars at the top. I'd choose one or the other. You look like you're having a lot of fun!
SHCG - Aww, this is such a sweet 'n FUN page. Love the pics, the journaling, the overall bluish color scheme, patterns, stars & groovy font. Inspired by Brian's mentioning of mouse ears, I think it'd be cool & cute to add that tiny Disney logo of a Mickey Mouse silhouette (his head & mouse ears) somewhere on this, like maybe in white in the dark diamond right below the left pic. You convey the playfulness you have w/ your best friend so well in this LO, Deborah, TFS!
SHCG: I like this. The journaling is great. The close up doesn't bother me at all. I keep thinking it would be cute to shrink it down though and add another one, creating mouse ears. Perhaps it would just be too overly obvious. Or, perhaps just shrink the top photo to make the heads the same size as the lower photo. You could always just leave it alone too. Fun page.
SHCG: Great sentiment in this LO. I do agree that I'm not a fan of really closeup photos, but that's just me. I think the black border surrounding the photos is a bit to drab and it just doesn't go in my mind with the blue/brown of the LO. I like Brenda's suggestion of silver possibly. I absolutely LOVE your journaling!
SHCG: While I love close up photos, the one in the top left corner is a bit TOO close up for me. Consider not cutting it so close and this might do the trick. This is a fun layout and a great page to honor your friendship.
SHCG: What's better than getting something for next to nothing? Having a BFF to share it with so that you get twice as much. Your journaling is cute, and I like the placement of your journaling strips with the added stars alternating sides. My suggestions are more like things to possibly reconsider. Rather than a bold outline for each photo circle, try a thin metal looking one instead, kinda like those circle tags. Also, maybe the amount of diamonds is borderline overembellishing. Pare those down a little. As is, this page is still a fun page. Your smiles are dazzling.
