In order to get my stamping to show up on the black paper, I decided to use white embossing powder, and opaque white ink. That worked out well, but it was a study in this technique on various papers. Basically, the velvet paper didn't take the embossing very well, although the white rub ons adhered nicely to the velvet. BTW....Stella is in her "Red Raider" costume....the mascot for Texas Tech, where Liz went to school.
