This photo was taken in Buchart Gardens, Victoria. This tree was was so elegant with all of it's knots, twists and turns, that I had to scrapbook it. This LO is intentionally simple, as I didn't want to interfere with the beauty of the photo. In addition, Asian art is usually simple, yet elegant. I used three colors of Glimmer Mist to get the mottled effect on Bazzill cardstock and to color the frog closure. Using Fancy Pants "From the Garden", I stamped the background cardstock with Ranger Ink, then colored the white blossoms. The Chinese symbol means "WOOD'. The poem reads: "And see the peaceful trees extend their myriad leaves in leisured dance-they bear the weight of sky and cloud upon the fountain of their veins." by Kathleen Raine. TFL
