Wonderful retro layout! You've chosen every element you can to complement that sweet picture of yourself and succeeded perfectly! There is so much happening and every bit of it draws the eye right back to your adorable photo!
I love this! Its so cute but not a surprise that it is! What brand and line are those cute papers. Your pic is so cute. I have to lift this. My DD had very curly hair as a toddler too. I used to quote that poem to her. I think my uncle used to say it to me. My DD looked like little girl in the pp at left. That paper matches the children in the book she learned to read from when she was three and I think I have a pic of her reading her book too. My hair was wavy but long when I was a toddler and until I was 8 or 9.
Awwwwwwwwww!! LOL! This is just so adorable...you were like a little Shirley Temple! PERFECT font for the title, love the addition of the poem for journaling. Your Dad would love this page, sassygirl. I really like the scalloped matting, and how you coordinated the edges with the strip journaling! WOW...that is the attention to detail you are famous for! Sweet, feminine pp choice. The clock finished it off nicely. xx
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stinkin' CUTE!!!! I've been meaning to do something like this for my dgd & use that poem!!! LOVE the retro pp & embellies!!!!
omg! this is preciousness....I cannot tell you how many times I too heard this from my father! I was the only one (middle child of 3 girls) who inherited my mother's curly hair! This is really a wonderful layout! great elements! and I LOVE the title! may have to lift this one from you! TFS!
Did some border punching, inking and used scalloped scissors to create this LO. The photo is of me in first grade. The poem, "There Was a Little Girl" is by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. My father used to quote that poem to me A LOT! Thanks for taking a peek, y'all!!!
