I see lots of LO that say that they are part of a challenge. How do you get involved in that? I have been scrapping for about 3 yrs, but just recently joined this site. Love your heritage lay outs.
hey Patty!! Where have you been girl?? Soo nice to see that gorgeous smile of yours in my gallery..makes my gallery shine!!!! :) This lo is just so precious in every way..from the beautiful papers to those cute little embellies..I just love it so much and it's going straight to my faves for when little isabella starts school :) Love it! :)
Another amazing amazing page for the heritage challenge....and who can challenge this?!?!? WOW! Patty, you create incredible vintage lo's!!! That title turned out FABULOUS ....wonderful alpha and painting!! I ALWAYS drool over your grandmother's vintage scraps ;) Lovely design with the pps behind the photo....and gorgeous distressing and flowers. FAVES!!!
This is so adorable and love the perfect embellies..those little vintage images are darling. Love the design that seems set on top of a chalk board and the white letters go great there. Wonderful job..great photo.
I am so envious of the wonderful family/heritage photos you own! LOL~WHat a TREASURE, Patty! And, without fail, you give them each a place of honor in your Family ALbums for posterity!! BEAUTIFUL work. I especially like the sweetness this LO has. The Prima Forget ME Nots could not be more perfect! I also like the cute JB buttons, lace trim and schoolgirl images. The layering against a 'chalk board' bg is brilliant! A little work of art. xoxoxox
So fabulous!! Adding those pink JB buttons to my wish list immediately! haha How cool to have this photo of your mom! I just love the colors, your perfect as usual handwriting, and the great letters for the title!
Wowza Patty! YOu have really outdone yourself with this gorgeous layout! I am loving how you used the WP lullaby pp's!!!! What a wonderful photo and title, too! Just a all-around FAB page!! (woohoo!!!!!)

This is another entry in the October Heritage Challenge. The small heart pin is metal, quallifying the LO for the twist.
Techniques used on this LO include distressing, inking, painting, calligraphy, paper tearing and folding, The little girls are antique scrap from my grandmother's collection. The lace is handmade in Belgium, and the kitten sticker is from Crafty Secrets.
The photo is of Mother's fifth grade class at Woodrow Wilson Elementary in Houston, c: 1931. She is on the front row in the center.
