8 x 8 Memorial Day weekend album. Simple. _______JOURNALING: Memorial Day Weekend 2007. My dear friends Carrie and Carla came to visit along with their kids, Dylan, Colin, Angela and Heather. We originally met through an online baby group when I was pregnant with Bennet, but have gone from two dimensional friends to true real life friends. It was simply a fantastic weekend that went far too fast. They have become some of my best, dearest friends & to be able to spend some time together was priceless. The whole weekend I just felt so lucky.. So lucky not only to know them, but that they would be willing to travel all the way from Canada & Kentucky to spend the weekend together. I just had this warm feeling inside. When they left on Tuesday morning I couldn’t hold back the tears. Just wishing that they lived closer. No matter the distance between us I know that we will always remain close. It’s not everyday that you meet people like Carrie & Carla and I am blessed to be able to call them friends.
