our wedding day - with bling!
the journaling reads: "our wedding was so 'us.' April 13, 2007. Friday the 13th has never been so lucky.
our wedding was pretty "us." almost completely no-fuss. didn't even freak out when the flowers were delivered to the wrong church! the top photo is my hubby being his goofy self. the middle was us taking a break from everything and just kicking back. and the bottom photo was part of the staged photos. we did all almost all our picture before the ceremony. it made the whole day go by smoother. our "first look" was on the balcony of the club at fort campbell-just the two of us and a camera going in each direction so we have a shot of both our faces when we saw each other for the first time. future brides-i HIGHLY recommend taking photos before the ceremony. it may not be traditional but oh my gosh, does it make the day easier. no rushing to get photos done while people are waiting at the reception. PM me-i'll give you a play by play of the whole day!
the middle photo actually inspired the larger one. this was a post-ceremony, post-arch of sabers, steve and allie just need a minute to relax before the reception shot! the larger photo is probably my favorite photo of the whole day. i love the look of all those empty chairs behind us. there's something to be said for an empty chapel after a wedding. still so much happiness in the air but also that wonderful sense of calm and quiet when no one is around. we sent a copy of this one out with each thank you note because no one else was there to see but it was a great moment we wanted to share.
