this was actually inspired by Tessa's "recent" pages--- notice how i "framed" my dd's ballet portrait. Thanks, Tessa! (((hugs))) the paper layering is from scraps of CBX. :)
when my dd had her first ballet recital, we weren't allowed to take pictures in the theatre; they only had a photoshoot prior to the show.
journaling reads:
You were 2 when you wanted to do ballet. Now that you're 6 years old, you had your 1st allet recital, "On Tour!" You danced to the Farmer and the Cowman on June 10, 2006 at the Stephen and Mary Birch North Park THeatre, San Diego.
the b/g is really white, it just didn't scan well. :) thanks for looking! :d
