This is so incredibly beautiful. I love everything about it. I love the muted colors and then the burst of sunshine with the yellows. The stitching is terrific!
First, I want to thank you for sharing. I believe this is why we scrap. To perserve our memories. Your LO is GREAT, I like ALL of the layers, the clever use of numbers, everything!!
This lo is in loving memory of my cousin Jeanell. I'm using it for the Use Your Supplies Challenge, week for the color you don't typically use. The journaling reads:
Its been two years since I've seen you smile or heard your laugh. And somehow I wish this was a dream. Twenty-six years just doesn't seem like a life could be fulfilled. You were the older sister I never had, and it's so unfair that you're gone. There are days when the very thought of you brings me to tears. And days where I think I hear your voice and smile. There are so many things that still remind me of you, the color purple, the rusty orange color car, and when someone calls me “Lulu.” I treasure every conversation, every word of advice, and every memory of you. I wish you were still here because, there's so much that you haven't seen or knew could be possible in this lifetime. I love you so much and my memories of you will never be forgotten.
