I really like the page. You might be able to add more interest by adding a thick strip of solid paper or paper that coordinates with what you've got. I find it really hard to make a good lo with only one piece of paper in the background. But that's just me... I really like it, though. And I do like the strips on the side and bottom. Good luck!
Thanks for the tips ladies, they've really got me thinking again... They are all very good ideas and I'll start mulling over it all.......any more, feel free to add and I"ll let you know when it's ready for a new unveiling. Yes, i've always been very fond of those photos, they're very cheeky little boys!
Cute lo... my thought would be to possibly add some of the pale green solid you used for the strips and double mat your photos to help tie in the light and dark. Cute pics btw!
I really like this one. Maybe add some of that mulberry matting to the back of the card where your journaling is. Other than that nothing else its really nice.
I think this page is simple but really cute. Maybe you could add a little ink around the edges of the patterned paper, or fold down the top right corner and add an eyelet. I really do like it.
Patterned paper from Anna Griffin, also used red mulberry paper, green bazzil, watercolour card and red embroidery thread.
Quote reads "Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better. Albert Einstein"
Journalling reads: "We visited the Cleland Park on a Saturday with Tyson(4) & Sammy (17 mths). We enjoyed meeting Blossom the Koala and feeding the many Kangaroos & Wallabies, some with Joeys." The Journalling is printed over a washed out version of the eucalyptus picture next to it.
