This LO was made as the June challenge example over at Songbird Scraps (http://songbirdscraps.ning.com/).
Twice a month on the 5th and 20th, they will give you two sets of lyrics to inspire you in scrapbooking a page, card, otp, digital layout, whatever you like really! At the end of the month the one best creation from both challenges, as voted by the design team will be chosen and awarded a prize! Go check it out!

This is a LO about how releaved we are that our kids have switched over from children's songs (although that period of time certainly had it's charm as well) to "regular" songs. This LO features my youngest daughter Christina who's constantly singing along with the songs on her mp3, and who shares my kind of music, thank goodness. My other two children favor their father's music and let me tell you, my music and his are not compatible LOL!!!!!!!!!!

I was inpired by "The Next Step" to alter my pp. The Next Step is an awesome challenge/technique site with loads of inspiration. Each month they highlight a new technique and they give variations and examples on that technique on a weekly basis. Definitely worthwile stalking this site!!!! (http://thenextstepchallenge.blogspot.com/)

The original pp was pretty busy, so the only thing I did besides (obviously) adding the photos was drawing and colouring in the stars. I also coloured parts of the journaling, which surprisingly made a huge difference to the overall look of the page!!!
To mimic CD's I simply cut out some circles and painted them with silver dabber paint by Ranger. The title was handwritten, coloured in with regular colouring pens and cut out with my exacto knife.

TFL
xxx Peggy
