When my husband got promoted to sergeant in February 2005, I made a card to congratulate him. I went to the clothing supply store and bought a cloth patch that the soldiers usually sew on their uniforms to signal their rank and glued it on the card. Under that is a strip of uniform print paper. Below that I glued a piece of tan leather, which looks pretty neat (I think). On the top I stamped the word Congratulations in Army green.
