WOW SO MUCH going on and not in a bad way, the photos aren't lost at all, as a matter of face they are nicely blended. My favorite part is the frayed rope with his messy hair...how cute.
Distressing is fantastic- it even looks different from others so that adds to the uniqueness. The photos are super cute- I love the widgets all over the page. :)
WAAAAY cool grungy look!!! That wet distressing you did turned out absolutely AMAZING!!! Very fun pics of your ds...definitely a rock n roller dude!! Love all the elements here, the cardboard, the gears, and all the inking and wonderful pps you worked with. ROCK ON!!!
What a great layout - Yes does remind one of "The Boss" - cute guy.
Really love it and will lift it if thats OK with you.
ps : When I lift a layout, I never copy exactly - I like to bring in my own touch somewhere and allow the designer to have the glory for the original.
very cool Grace!!! love the edges!Have you tried a splat mat to put on your table while inking and messy stuff? its cool, EVERYTHING wipes right off it and it can tolerate heat tools up to several hundred degrees
What a wonderful and perfect little boy LO this is, Grace! So great of you to take this adorable little man with you on this momentous day. Love all your details and super cute photos! Just marvelous!
This lo is so awesome I can't even tell you! You did an amazing job on the distressing around the edges...I'll have to try it! Love the embellies and cardboard! Your Josh is such a cutie...4 1/2 eh? My dgd Madelyn is that age...they sure would look cute together! With her red curly hair and his gorgeous head of hair...lol just sayin...
Photos of my son taken on the last presidential election day.I wanted to document this day as this was an historical election! I wanted him to look back and say,"This is where I was!"We took him to the polls to be a part of it.We got up way early so my dh could vote before work.We had to wake Josh up and get him dressed in a hurry. He looked like such the little dude at 4 1/2!Dontcha think? The way he's standing reminds me of a li'l Bruce Springsteen! I looked and looked for a blog on how to do Robinzberdz wet distressing technique, but was unable to find anything. So I kinda made up my own.I distressed the edges, then spritzed water,Tattered Angels, and Smooch around edges. Then scrunched with my fingers.I did all this on a large cookie sheet so as not to stain my table. Then let it dry.I kinda like it!Thanks so much for looking, and have a great weekend!~Grace
