My Love....for Test a Theory for Hallmark

Me and the Hubster...Every piece of paper and embellishment on this layout...with the exception of course of the two photos and the two solid background papers (teal & orange) are from three Hallmark cards. I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could create a layout entirely with just using the greeting cards as elements on top of background paper and I did it! I did lift the "Hallmark Emblem" piece from Maggieanne's Hallmark LO.....thanks Girl! I punched the hearts, butterflies & dragonflies and stamped the three coppery embellies at the bottom of the LO and cut out the florals, the 2 large hearts & the tiny bird and butterfly at the top of LO. I used the Coluzzle for the biggest heart and deckle scissored the edges of it and the smaller rectangular sentiment piece. Pop Dotted a few of the embellies too. Now that I've gone through my greeting cards....looks like I'll most likely do several more LO's using these since it was a fun project and it's a great way to recycle...if only the cards were archival safe, right!?!
