this deer trusted us enough to walk right up to our car. It was amazing. My boyfriend was buying liquor, I spotted a deer in someone's back yard munching away on grass. I tiptoed over with my camera and started snapping away. As I turned to leave her alone, my boyfriend was coming out and spotted what I was up to. We drove by to see if I could get a closer look. That's when I noticed two babies in the background. Then my boyfriend whistled and she walked right up to him. I was snapping away. Next thing I know he grabs a salted cashew we were eating and hands it to her. She ate it right out of his hand! It was so amazing. I love the Adirondacks.
