This was a simple layout that I put together to showcase snapshots of my friends from camp. The colors are not that bright in real life. I've been scanning my layouts because it usually produces a better image, but, my scanner changes the colors of my layouts, scans blurry, cuts off the bottom of the image, and often stiches badly. Ugh! I get some great natural light in my room in the morning and I think I'll start just photographing my pictures. I made this layout the same day as my "you COLOR my world" layout. I was in such a paisely mood. The little things are so weird... I can't get enough.
I painted the chipboard, except for the orange circle-- for that... well, I only had one sheet of the background orange paper, so I cut out a swatch from behing the pictures and paisely paper and used it to cover the circle. The mat for the photos is a slightly different orange-- more pinkish-- but the difference is subtle and its padded by the pasiely paper, which has the same color. Writing on the blue with white pen was probably a bad choice, but it does at least look better in reality. I used The Essential Glue Pad to stamp paisely on the circle and covered it with glitter.
