The last page for the first book I am creating for my mil. She always skiied from the time she was little and was on the ski team in school. She also was nominated for Snow Queen during the Leadville, Colorado Winter Carnival. I found a newspaper article in her things. It didn't have the date on the page that was torn. I included it in a little envelope in the pocket that is on the bottom of the page. I used Grey Cardstock, 2 shades of pink cardstock, a baby blue cardstock, and a purple and blue Anna Griffin printed papers. The background was stamped using stamps from Close to my Heart and Penny Black. The snowflakes have had Julia Andrus Perfect pearl Powder added to them in the pearl color. I also used some white ink to give the outside edges, the large snowflake, and the blue snowflakes some softness and a more winter feel. The letters were some old Creative Memories stickers that I found hiding in my stash. I added little pink heart bling and diamond bling to the center of the snowflakes.
Challenges used are:
Cricut challenge - Used Christmas/Noel Cartridge, A Child's Year Cartridge, Art Philosophy Cartridge
Page Maps Etc. Challenge - Bonus Sketch #5

PS...I know I said the last page, but I still have the opening page for the book...and I added a Karen Fosters My Life Story page to the back where my mil can record her story of her growing up years.

Thank you all my friends for always encouraging and inspiring me! Hugs to you!
