title taken from the book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," by Judith Viorst, I believe.

Hidden Journaling reads:
We all have them, bad days. And oh, what a bad day it was. November 11th, 2004. You got syrup in your hair at breakfast. You spilled juice on your clothes and picked this moose t-shirt as replacement. You were having a hard time with potty training, so you were sitting on your potty chair next to the rocking love seat where I was feeding Seth. As I stood up, I smashed your foot, which had been resting on the wooden love seat frame. Your toes were crushed, cut, bruised and bleeding. You hurt so badly, you couldn’t even breath or talk clearly. You lay on the couch and watched TV until daddy got home. The swelling peaked, and you ate popsicles and seemed to forget about your wound until you would stand up and try to walk, at which point you would immediately fall. You were sad, grumpy, and adorably disheveled, as you can see in this picture. It broke my heart to see you in pain. Popsicles might not always be what help you get through the pain of a bad day, but whether it be a good friend or good ice cream, I hope that you will always find something.

I used:
bazzill cardstock
sei paper (seasoned line)
misc cardstock from roberts (red and plum colored ovals and cream colored journaling)
mm rub ons
doodlebug rub ons ("and the")
mm snaps
mm ribbon
offray ribbon
textured trios ribbon
cocoa ink from close to my heart
mm date stamp
sonnets by sharon pp (paisley)
mm page pebble
misc craft button
paperclip
aulden times font downloaded from the internet

I made the "bad day" clip to use for the pullout journaling by printing "bad day" out on the computer, circle punching it, inking it, covering it with a page pebble, and mounting it on a button, then on the paper clip.

tfl!
